Rija Ahmed

Rija Ahmed serves as Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement at Thunderbird School of Global Management. In this role, she leads alumni communications and engagement initiatives that strengthen connection across Thunderbird’s global network. Her work focuses on building thoughtful communication strategies and digital engagement ecosystems that support long term relationships among alumni, chapters, and affinity communities worldwide.

With a background spanning marketing, brand strategy, and business development, Rija brings a systems-oriented and community-centered approach to her work. She is particularly passionate about translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that foster belonging and inspire meaningful engagement.

Rija holds a Master of Global Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, with a concentration in Global Business and Global Digital Transformation. Her global perspective and cross-cultural experience inform her commitment to strengthening Thunderbird’s alumni community across regions and generations.
