Overview

We are witnessing a new era in human history, made possible by low-cost access to space. Satellite constellations now provide a fresh perspective on our communities, enabling precision agriculture, natural resource management, and new business opportunities. Ambitious plans to explore the Moon and Mars have inspired the imaginations of people worldwide. This new frontier is also shaped by complex geopolitical dynamics that underscore the need for principled leaders. As countries and private entities race to explore and commercialize space, a new generation of leaders is needed to advance space exploration, commerce, and the policy frameworks that define space as a domain of human activity.

Thunderbird’s certificate in Space Leadership features powerful guest speakers, valuable learning materials and more. Taught by globally recognized space leaders and distinguished academic faculty, participants will learn from experts and practitioners how to discover growth opportunities in the space industry.

ASU offers this certificate two times each year in Washington D.C. Additionally, this certificate course can be adapted into custom corporate programs, and it can be deployed in host countries around the world.
